Relationships can be one of the most meaningful—and challenging—parts of our lives. Whether you’re feeling disconnected, overwhelmed by conflict, or stuck in painful communication patterns, couples counselling offers a space to slow down, reflect, and begin to reconnect.You may be feeling frustrated, lonely, or confused—longing to feel seen, heard, and understood in your relationship. Perhaps you’ve tried to talk things through, but the same arguments keep looping. Maybe you’re navigating a major life change, rebuilding after a rupture, or questioning whether the relationship can (or should) continue. These are deeply vulnerable moments. You don’t have to navigate them alone.

 

What I Offer as a Couples Counsellor

 

I provide a warm, structured, and non-judgmental space where both partners can bring their experience to the table. My role is not to take sides, but to help each person feel heard and respected—while gently exploring the relational dynamics that keep you stuck. Using evidence-based approaches such as Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) and the Gottman Method, I help couples with the following:

  • Recognize and shift negative communication cycles

  • Develop emotional safety and deeper understanding

  • Rebuild trust after rupture or betrayal

  • Navigate conflict with more regulation and less reactivity

  • Clarify shared goals and values

  • Strengthen intimacy and connection

  • Learn practical tools to support long-term relational health

I also integrate attachment-based and trauma-informed insights, helping you understand how past wounds or individual triggers may be influencing how you show up in your relationship today.
